Genius is 1 percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration — Thomas Edison
I have discovered this quote later in my life and but subconsciously, has been a guiding principle of my later life. I grew up thinking that geniuses were born and not made. That is anything but true.
It takes a lot of toil to achieve anything of value or significance.
All it matters at the end of the day is what you became through all the trials and tribulations. Along the journey, I learned so many life lessons through failures than successes.
The key is to treat failure as yet another step towards success and not as an end of journey. You learn perseverance, grit and empathy.
I will leave it with a bonus quote 🙂
Easy come, easy go.
